Google’s Panda 4.1 Launch and How It Affects SEO or your website

Image
After 4 months time span Google launched their another Panda algorithm. Previous Google Panda 4.0 update affected 7.5% of all English queries as well as low quality content, keywords and duplicate contents owned websites. Google announced their 27th Panda 4.1 update rolled out officially on Google Plus. Google's Pierre Far, Webmaster Trends Analyst announced public ally as: "Earlier this week, we started a slow roll out of an improved Panda algorithm, and we expect to have everything done sometime next week. Based on user (and webmaster!) feedback, we’ve been able to discover a few more signals to help Panda identify low-quality content more precisely. This results in a greater diversity of high-quality small- and medium-sized sites ranking higher, which is nice. Depending on the locale, around 3-5% of queries are affected." Prime Objective of Panda 4.1 Update The main purpose of Google Panda Update is to remove spam as well as duplicate contents from the web. F

How Https is better than http? HTTPS Ranking Factor Works- New Update of Google

Image
New facts on the Google HTTPS ranking signal. Last Thursday, Google launched a new ranking signal to give HTTPS sites a ranking boost, a small ranking boost, to encourage webmasters to migrate their sites from HTTP to HTTPS. In our story from Thursday, we covered why Google is doing this and the concerns some SEOs had with the migration, as well as the process one should take when doing the migration. We also covered the industry reaction to the new ranking signal. Over the past week, we’ve learned a great deal about the new ranking signal. We wanted to share those new findings with you here. Google Runs HTTPS Ranking Signal In Real Time Unlike Penguin or Panda algorithms, this is a ranking signal that is run in real time. EzineArticles.com Links Are Now 100 Percent NOFOLLOW

Effective today, we’ve updated EzineArticles.com to be 100% NOFOLLOW. Previously, we were NOFOLLOW on everything except for the Resource Box, below the Article Body. Keeping Our Authors’ Best Interests in Mind I sometimes feel we should have made this decision years ago, but our members made it loud and clear to us that they valued the links in the Resource Box that didn’t include the NOFOLLOW attribute, even though we’ve felt the importance of this attribute has been muted due to the several hundred signals that search engines now use to determine rank and search results. Today is a turning point where we believe there is more UPSIDE to moving 100% of EzineArticles.com to NOFOLLOW than a downside loss in confidence by members who may believe otherwise. We don’t guess; we test. :-) The goal here at EzineArticles.com has always been to help our Members to publish high quality articles that will increase traffic back to your website, help you build credibility and influence wi
